The only glacier in Japan in the midst of Tateyama

It is investigated by the staff of Tateyama Caldera Sabo Museum, and by that investigation the ice rock in Tateyama Mountains is moving 30 cm every year. It is reported that three locations of ice block is recognized as glaciers.
