Tateyama Caldera Sabo Museum

Tateyama Caldera is a huge hollow located at the south of Midagahara Highland. In this museum you can learn about the nature, history, erosion control work of Tateyama Caldera. Especially you will find how this national project for the erosion control work has protected whole Toyama Plain. You can easily learn using 3D movie audiorama. Also you can find a small steamer on display.

This museum is near Tateyama Station and you can easily drop in to enjoy it. There are big scale georama and large movie hall, so both adults and children can spend nice time here.
